Returning to Des Moines for their third time, this group brings taiko, the Japanese word for drum, to the stage for a high-energy show that will have the audience on the edge of their seats. San Jose Taiko, coming all the way from California, bring their art form to the stage as they honor their culture and heritage through their fun musical style and choreography.
The show will feature compositions that are written or arranged by members of the group. This provides a unique opportunity for the audience to learn about the theatrical extravaganzas of movement and music as they experience them. This family-friendly show provides an educational experience in a way that is engaging and fun for everyone!
