If you’ve been with DMMB for awhile, you may remember the chilly morning last winter our team bundled up and headed to the East Village for our team photos with Megan Schaap Photography.

We’ve had the chance to work with Megan on our website photos, and several of our contributors and readers have worked with her to capture life’s special moments. We’re honored to know Megan personally and professionally and are thrilled to share her with you today.

About Megan

Megan is a fabulous mama to 2 sweet kiddos and lives in Des Moines with her best friend (otherwise known as her amazing husband).

Megan shares, “As a photographer, my greatest passion is to reflect the beauty of God’s creation with each image. From the raw emotion of birth to the sweet joy of two becoming one, I aspire to capture the blessings God brings in our lives with a clean, classic, and natural feel.

“I love telling a story with my images by shooting from a journalistic perspective, freezing in time the moments that you want to last forever. I also love the look of a timeless, well-lit portrait.
