As the sun starts shining brighter and the grass begins to look greener than ever, it becomes time to start thinking summer. And with that it is time to start thinking Iowa Cubs baseball.
It has been over a year since the Iowa Cubs have taken the field here in Des Moines. That means it has also been over a year since we last ate a hot dog in the stands, caught a t-shirt from the Fun Gun, watched Friday night fireworks, or sang the 7th inning stretch.
After long last, it feels good to finally say that one week from today: Iowa Cubs baseball is back!
