Becky, the owner, sources products from women makers, so you can feel good about supporting entrepreneurs with your purchases. If you’re looking for a personalized gift, she also makes custom signs and and picture frames. She also sells a variety of string art make and take kits. If you don’t know what to choose, give a gift certificate for a class! 

2. Betty Walker Studio

Betty Walker is a talented local mama who creates beautiful watercolor paintings, notecards, and bookmarks. The state of Iowa notecards are painted using coffee. We’ve never seen anything like it!

3. Rosella Margaret

We love these hand-cut wood signs and home decor made in Ankeny. How adorable are these Iowa ornaments! 

4. Dirt Road Candle Co.

You can never have too many candles, especially when they smell this amazing! Seasonal scents include Christmas tree, hot toddy, country sleigh ride, and spritz cookie. The candles are hand-poured in Atlantic, Iowa. They also sell room spray and wax melts.

If you haven’t stopped by this local shop in Valley Junction, you’re missing out! Its known for its distinct Iowa and Midwest themed prints, mugs, t-shirts, and more. This 515 tee is perfect for the hard-to-buy-for dad on your list!

Get a jump start on 2020 with a wall calendar designed by Laura Palmer. We love that you can color in the sketches each month.
