Our Experience
My hubby and I decided we would get a sitter for our son (16 months old) and just take our big girls, 8 and 6. As soon as we got there, I was grateful that we were able to do that. With Drake’s bedtime around 7 and this toddler stage of life, there was no way we would all get to sit and enjoy the show together. We got there 30 minutes before the show and barely got in our seats before it started. The lights dim, the music starts, the spotlights focus. The Ringmaster comes out full of energy and amps up the crowd as we take in all of the excitement of the circus! With each new act, our faces lit up with awe and wonder. From the strong man to the acrobats, we were completely captivated by the show. If you enjoyed the opening show last night, you probably heard my Lili squealing with delight and cheering for more after each act. She is truly a lover of the circus! Some of our personal favorites… The jugglers were fun to watch! The girls (and I!) giggled at the entertainer/clown with the black pants, white shirt and red hat. He could do everything and make you laugh without a word. Lili loved the puppy performers. Cadee thought the tight rope walkers were amazing. Hubby was shocked at the motorcyclists in the cage and how brave that woman was. And, of course, we all loved the gentle giants, the elephants. I was also impressed with how well the timing of the music and sound effects matched up with each performance. My hubby pointed out early on that it was because of the live band. The sound effects and music went perfectly with each act. I highly recommend taking your family to this! Especially for your kiddos that will sit and take in all of the sights and sounds of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus!

Ringling Bros. offers real face-time with performers starting at the All Access Pre-show Power-Up Party, which takes place on the arena floor one hour before the show. Party goers can learn electric dance moves from Ringling Bros. master clown Dean Kelly, strike a pose in high-powered costumes, learn balancing and juggling skills and meet and take photos with the Fully Charged cast. Only at Fully Charged, Gold Edition can audiences step behind the curtain for an exclusive backstage experience which includes a first-hand look at the most exotic animal menagerie, from camels to elephants!
