Des Moines Moms Blog is honored to work with Verizon Wireless who is sponsoring a fun and educational Moms Night Out. Join us Monday, December 16th from 7pm-9pm at the Verizon Wireless smart store located at 9901 University Ave. Clive. The first hour we will tour the store, do some shopping and mingling! From 8-9 we will do a “wireless workshop” to learn about all the amazing devices and smart accessories we all use or want to use, have some refreshments and of course do some GIVEAWAYS.

What is a Smart Store?
The Verizon Wireless store in Clive is the first “Smart Store” in Iowa and one of 125 in the nation to open this year*. These newly designed stores make shopping for wireless products – including smart accessories, smartphones and tablets – more engaging. Smart Stores showcase Verizon’s 4G LTE network, which is nearly complete in Iowa, and the various ways that wireless technology can be incorporated into a customer’s lifestyle needs such as: smart accessories for music and fitness, smart home technology for remote monitoring, locking and unlocking doors, adjusting a thermostat, and much more. Interactive product areas allow consumers to try out and learn about various new wireless devices. Many work with a variety of smartphones and tablets. *(Verizon will redesign all 1,700 corporate-owned stores over the next several years)
