Yes, that is Kate Wagner’s, the founder and designer of the clothing line Lidgett, belief. In her heart of hearts, Kate believes that clothing holds the power of presenting us to the world, to be a confidence builder, a shield, and prepares us to encounter what lies before us.

Clothing helps us to feel powerful.
Clothing tells a story.
But a large part of who Kate is centers around her favorite job title of “mom.” She is also a CEO, writer, full-time sunscreen applier, gardener, house manager, chicken owner, sister, daughter, and wife, so clothing needs to be functional, flexible, and beautiful. None of us are “just moms” anymore. As moms, we all take on many different roles every day and clothing should reflect that.
The Lidgett 2019 summer line includes dresses, skirts, tops, and swimwear (trust me, the swim shirts are a MUST) that help you tell your story while also remaining functional and flexible. All the dresses and skirts have pockets so you can store your keys, phone, or whatever treasure your toddler just handed you. Plus everything is machine washable because in a word: kids.
