Des Moines Moms Blog held its premier event at The Funky Zebras Boutique in Ankeny last Thursday, October 25th.
Our team loved celebrating with friends and sponsors and couldn’t have asked for a more fantastic event. We were so grateful to have so many people come out and support our new adventure! We loved hearing your encouragement in our Mission and we appreciate you sharing your ideas for future content and events. We can’t wait to celebrate all of the fun things to come!
Here’s what our mamas loved most about it!
- catching up with friends
- meeting new people
- shopping for trendy fashions
- enjoying amazing food
- taking time for ourselves!
- shopping for the holidays
- celebrating with one mama after winning a $50 shopping spree
- making a difference in the community while we shopped! (10% of all purchases will be donated to the March of Dimes)
With Gratitude to our Event Sponsors
We are extremely grateful to The Funky Zebras. We had such a fun, after-hours party at their darling little boutique. The store was all ours while we got to shop for unique clothing, shoes and accessories. Owner Cheryl Hayes and her staff were beyond helpful assisting us with latest trends and offered us fashion advice.
They definitely went above and beyond with all the amazing food. We loved the fruit kabobs, desserts, and sandwiches from In The Bag.
The Funky Zebras offers brand name clothing, trendy handbags, jewelry, scarves, shoes, housewares and more. It is the best local place to find unique items that are unlike any department store. They have 2 locations; one in Ankeny and the other in Urbandale. Be sure to Like them on Facebook, and stop by their Ankeny store at 305 SE Oralabor Road to see all they have new this week.
