We are so excited to share our new website with you! Des Moines Mom is completely updated, created with you, our readers in mind. Since 2012, we have been a resource for local moms.
We are in LOVE with the modern design, including our new logos and color scheme. New content and archived content — that’s more than 2,000 articles — can be found organized neatly by category so that you can find information, answers, and support for just what you need and where you are in your parenting journey. You can find recommended reads based on topics you’re interested in. And guess what? Des Moines Mom even has a weather update built right into the website! (So. fancy.)

Our mission, our why is still the same — to encourage and support moms in the Des Moines area through original content, in-person events, and more. You can expect the same excellent resources in these coming years as we have provided to tens of thousands of moms over the last nearly eight years.
As always, Des Moines Mom is passionate about our community and the moms who live here. We are a resource of information, resources, local events, and more. We feature local businesses, parenting information, and provide opportunities for moms to connect both online and in person. Everyone is welcome! We are simply a group of moms passionate about connecting families in our community.
