Holiday Gifts for Busy Moms

gifts for busy momsThe holiday season is here! If you’re anything like me, I’ve already put my tree up before Thanksgiving because let’s face it; we could all use a little more joy in 2020. As moms, we almost always are putting our family’s needs before our own needs. It’s just who we are.

This season, I wanted to be intentional about getting gifts for busy moms. They need things they would really appreciate and benefits them. Go ahead, gift yourself too! You deserve it.

Gifts for Busy Moms

Salon Gift Card

We could all use a breather this year. Salon Spa W is one of my favorites because it feels luxurious. It is the premier spa in Des Moines and has won many awards. Give a gift card for nails, massage, makeup, or just to get their hair washed and done. One of the best parts of Salon Spa W is the Covid precautions they are taking. Everything is constantly sanitized. Chairs are spread out and masks are required for all. Still not set on going to a salon during this time? Totally get it. That’s why a gift card is the coolest—you can use it when the world calms down a bit.

Flowers/Arrangements

These aren’t just regular flowers. These are some of the most gorgeous bouquets I’ve ever seen. Wildflower (a local Des Moines florist) has many options including dry arrangements to last forever. They also have floral subscriptions! (Gift cards available too.)

Amazon Prime Gift Membership

Who doesn’t love free two-day shipping? Gift a prime membership to the busy mom in your life to help save her a trip to the store here and there.

Gift Cards

Let’s be honest. Gift cards are always a favorite for people because they have the opportunity to choose what they want. It’s an especially great gift for moms who are hard to shop for! Here are some fun local places you can get gift cards at:

CKD Design Co
For vintage goods and home decor.

Bing’s
For the most unique gifts/books.

XO-LP
The coolest illustrations and cards.

The Cave DSM
Wine!

Des Moines Mercantile
A one-stop general store.

Happy Holidays, Mamas! What’s on your wish list this year?
