Be sure to arrive at noon and stay until 1:30 so you don’t miss out on the fun. You will enjoy a yummy lunch and dessert (to be eaten at your convenience) and walk through city vehicles and construction equipment—not to mention meet and mingle with Polk City’s finest as well as Super Heroes! Our Community Service Emphasis for this event is the Children and Families of Iowa Domestic Violence shelter.

How You Can Help:

The following is the list of items the shelter needs, and we hope you’ll bring these items with you the day of the event.

For individuals in CFI’s Domestic Violence Services:

• New or gently used pillows, twin sized sheet sets, bath towels, and wash cloths
• New personal care items
• New underwear (variety of sizes, for children and adults)
• New or gently used children’s coats (variety of sizes)
• New or gently used snow boots (variety of sizes)

For children enrolled in CFI’s Teddy Bear Town:

• Diapers (newborn up to size 2)
• Wipes
