Entertainment

This year, Glow Wild is presenting Girls Rock! DSM, Robert Deitch, and Suede to perform all night on the big stage. So grab a beverage and take a seat at the picnic table or walk around and enjoy the multitude of genres such as rock, county, soul, alternative, and R&B coming from the speakers.

Glow WildIf you want to start your night with something relaxing and low-key, head to the horse-drawn wagon rides to cuddle up with your kiddos and enjoy the beautiful fall scenery of Jester Park. Afterward, head to the back patio and cook a free s’more to enjoy.

Education

Want something a bit more educational? Glow Wild has you covered. From the Insect Zoo to the seed harvesting, and everything in between there are plenty of activities to get the whole family learning something new. Study the ecosystem of a pond or tag a few monarch butterflies to immerse yourself in nature as you celebrate National Public Lands Day, established in 1994.

Activities

Take your mini Picasso to one of several craft stations to build an art piece to take home for a memento. Afterward, you can head over and draw on a large boulder that will later be placed at a county park for everyone to enjoy.

There are plenty of activities for older kids and adults ages 12 and up looking for a challenge. Archery takes place inside the Outdoor Rec and Wellness Center where you and your kids can learn the skills it takes to use a bow and arrow. Just outside, is the newly added activity of axe-throwing. Compete with the family to see who throws their axe closest to the bullseye.

Camp

If you don’t want the fun weekend to end there, Jester Park is offering free shuttle buses from the campgrounds. Head to mycountyparks.com to reserve a campsite.
