Founder Amy Schendel says, “I have sewn since I was about 10 years old and love designing and creating all kinds of things. I worked in the wedding dress world in college and have done alterations on the side of working full time at various Optical offices for the last 15+years. After getting pregnant with my second child I was seeing all kinds of wonderful homemade bibs & burp clothes & decided I could make those easily! I got so many complements on them that I starting thinking about creating my own Etsy shop. Then I started shopping for a diaper bag and was vastly disappointed in the pockets in all the bags I found in the stores, so I designed my own. I loved how it turned out and again got so many compliments. I wanted to be able to share my love of creating these things to help people be able to get the exact items they would love, too.
My greatest happiness is after I’ve created something for someone and they respond that it turned out better than they had hoped. It is great to be able to give someone that satisfaction.”
