Spraygrounds and wading pools are the perfect places to cool off without having to go to a full-blown pool and luckily there are dozens of options in and around Des Moines.
Spraygrounds in Des Moines are open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 1 through September 30 unless otherwise noted. Spraygrounds are free and do not have a lifeguard and are free to the public.
Wading pools and splash pools do have a lifeguard and are open varied dates and times. Check below for details.
