As mom’s we all have dry hands right?  We wash our hands countless times a day from after changing diapers to wiping runny noses and cooking supper!  Or maybe you have a child with dry skin.  I want to share my personal business that I started out of a desperate need for my son.  Hopefully it will provide you or a loved one with relief of dry skin!

Our Family’s Story

Let me share with you some back ground that led me to start making my own lotion for our family:

My oldest struggled with eczema from the time he was 3 months old.  At one point when he was about 18 months his entire back was covered with eczema!  I would put him in bed at night with tears in my eyes.  I knew he had to be miserable.  We tried every lotion and potion out there to help his eczema.  At one point we were using pure shea butter which ruined his clothing because it isn’t water soluble (it doesn’t wash out of clothing!) I hunted and hunted to find the perfect lotion for his sensitive skin which lead me to making my own and now I am excited to share the lotion we love with all of you!

What is CocoaB bar

3 ingredients: Beeswax, Organic Coconut Oil, and Organic Cocoa Butter.  Combined together they make a highly moisturizing hard lotion bar perfect for the driest of skin and the most sensitive.  Hard Lotion?  Yep the bars come in a tin and are hard but they soften at body temperature so just rub the bar in your hands.   It only takes a little to cover.  No preservatives and No fragrance.

I just started carrying an extra large lotion size.  It comes in a twist up stick and you glide it on.  Perfect for applying on legs and arms.  Especially perfect for applying on your precious wiggly little one!

I cannot claim that this lotion will take away eczema as there are many many factors that can trigger eczema. However: this lotion can ease the discomfort of dry skin.  While my son doesn’t visibly have eczema right now we still put the lotion on his problem areas nightly.  A few weeks ago we were out of town and I forgot our lotion.  After a few days of not applying the lotion my sons eczema had started to flare up!  I won’t ever forgot our lotion again.
