Recommendations from friends are the best! When friends share what they’re loving, I know they actually like the product and aren’t trying to sell me anything.
But, as a busy mom of two boys, it’s tough to find time to hang out with friends and just talk. When I have that time, we’re so busy catching up, we don’t get to chatting about everyday things like what we’re loving lately.
So, as your virtual mom friend, I put together a list of eight things I’m loving lately.
- ThermoPop Digital Food Thermometer – This relatively inexpensive thermometer has made me the Queen of the Grill. I used to be horrible at grilling. With this little baby, I haven’t messed up dinner once. And, I got the pink one because it’s fun!
- Bombas Slipper Socks – I don’t even care, you can call me an old lady. I am loving these slipper socks! They’re easy to pack, keep your feet warm and they even sell a “mommy and me” pack so your littles can get one, too.
- Nat + Noor Lu Lu Clips – My hair is thin and cut into a straight bob. I use these clips to pull my hair half-back and they actually stay put!
- Billie Razors – I have subscribed to this razor service for about two years and it’s awesome. No more buying whatever is on sale only to feel like I shaved with a piece of cut glass. Billie razors are high-quality and convenient. I have the “delivery every two months” option.
- KIAVA Swim Top – I am loving this cropped swim top paired with these high-waisted bottoms from Target (though KIAVA’s bottoms look pretty awesome, too). I’ve had mine for over a year and just ordered two more for this summer.
- TRUHAIR Color & Lift – Grey hair has been in my life since college. Yes, I am vain and routinely color my hair. Between colors, I get a lovely grey stripe in my part. TRUHAIR’s powder is outstanding, and believe me, I’ve tried probably a dozen grey-coverage products. It’s easy to apply, covers well, and stays put. This buys me at least two more weeks between salon visits.
- SodaStream Terra – I asked for one of these for Christmas and I am loving it. I used to buy a ton of canned sparkling water. So far, I like the taste of this water. It is a little annoying to wash bottles but I tell myself I am somehow saving money and the environment. That makes it worth it.
- BAD Gal Bang! Mascara – I bought this once when I had a gift card and haven’t looked back. I really try to save it for special occasions and use cheap mascara for everyday. But, I find myself reaching for this more and more!
