fall drink recipesSkip the line at the drive-through, save money, and get your caffeine boost with these yummy fall drink recipes to make at home.

I don’t know about you, but nothing says fall more than a hot cup of pumpkin spice coffee while snuggling up on the couch and having a few quiet moments to myself before a busy day starts. Or maybe you are looking for a cozy afternoon treat to look forward to after a busy morning of school or work, or as a way to wind down at the end of the day and soak in the crisp fall air and sounds of sunset on the porch.

All of these drinks can be made decaf, vegan, and use a sweetener you prefer that fits your dietary needs.

Now more than ever it is so important to take a few moments each day whether at the beginning, in the middle, or end of the day, to sit, get quiet, and reflect on what you are thankful for. Having a warm, soothing cup of fall goodness will make those moments something you look forward to and actually do it on the regular.

Cozy Fall Drink Recipes

Try making your own creamers like pumpkin spice or pecan pie creamer to add to your favorite cup of coffee or tea. This will instantly make your daily cup of coffee more cozy and delicious. Nothing screams fall more than pumpkin. Plus it’s so easy to make.

Pumpkin Spice Creamer

  • 2 cups cream of choice (I’m loving oat milk)
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
  • 2 T pumpkin pie spice blend
  • 1 T Pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice to taste

In a small saucepan bring cream to a low simmer on low- medium heat. Add pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice blend, and sweetener. Whisk together until well incorporated, cool, and transfer to a container with a lid. Refrigerate. Use within 5-7 days.

Pecan Pie Creamer

  • 2 cups Half and Half (or cream of choice)
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp Pecan Extract
  • Dash nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer on low-medium heat. Whisk together and cool. Transfer to the container with a lid and store up to 7 days in the refrigerator.

You can save a ton of money by making your own creamers, plus you can make them healthier and add or omit the extras you don’t want in your coffee. Some of my favorite non-dairy milk options to make creamers are oat or cashew. They are rich and creamy and make the best foam.

Chai Tea Latte

If you are a tea drinker this spicy, rich chai is perfect for a fall treat. Try making your own chai spice mix (recipe below).

  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2 tsp of chai mixture
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Cinnamon & nutmeg (for garnish)

Make Your Own Chai Spice Mix

  • 2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 2 tsp ground allspice
  • 2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground cloves
  • 6 tsp ground ginger
  1. Add two bags of Earl Grey tea or black tea -caffeinated or non-caffeinated.
  2. Next, place almond milk or creamer of your choice, and tea bags into a saucepan and bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Let sit for at least 3 minutes or longer if you would like it stronger.
  3. Then add 2 teaspoons of the chai spice mix and maple syrup to tea and whisk until spices dissolve in the milk.
  4. Serve hot or over ice.

Cheers to a wonderful fall season and time to sit back and soak it all in mama!
